TF5800 available in selected House of Fraser stores [Updated: 26th April]

Selected House of Fraser stores across the UK are to start stocking the Topfield TF5800 on a trial basis, with first supplies expected to be in store just before the Easter weekend.

Nationwide roll-out

If sales go well in the first ten stores, it’s anticipated that the Toppy will become available in all House of Fraser department stores around the country.

Although the TF5800 is already available in a number of retail outlets, most of those are primarily specialists hi-fi and audio-visual stores, or regional chains of stores.

House of Fraser is the first nationwide chain to stock the PVR, which should give it a much higher profile on the high street.

First ten stores

The first ten stores to stock the TF5800 will be House of Fraser shops in Birmingham, Bristol, Gateshead Metro Centre, Glasgow, Lakeside Thurrock, London Victoria, Manchester, Reading (The Oracle), and Sheffield Meadowhall, and Beatties in Wolverhampton.

Additional stores (26th April)

Since the initial roll-out, we’ve received news that seven more stores will be stocking the TF5800 too, and the UK distributor is arranging training sessions for staff selling the Toppy.

The seven new stores are Cardiff, Camberley, Darlington, Leicester, London Oxford Street, Middlesborough and Plymouth.
