V1.0     18 November 2006

NEW:

-          RECYCLE BIN.  Archive now has a Recycle Bin function (enabled via option #21).  Files can be ‘deleted’ to the Recycle Bin, where they can be recovered if accidentally ‘deleted’ from Archive.  The Recycle Bin can be manually emptied, or emptied automatically at TAP startup or daily at 3AM.
File/Folder Delete confirmation panels can now be made optional when using the Recycle Bin via config option #21.

-          MOVE FILE/FOLDER.  Files and folders can be moved to other subdirectories, or to the parent directory.  This routine uses a TAP Extension that may not work on certain firmwares.

-          RENAME ON MOVE.  Config option #28 allows files to be renamed during a move operation if a file with the same name already exists in the target directory.  Folders are not renamed during a move.

-          NEW FILE INDICATORS.  Files that are new since the last time Archive was activated can be indicated by a star in column 1.  Folders containing new files, or subfolders with new files, will be indicated by a star.  Config option #27 controls the displaying of the new file indicator.

-          DELETE NON-EMPTY FOLDERS.  A new config option (#18) has been created to allow you to prevent the deletion of folders that still contain recordings or subfolders.  If you set this option to "Cannot delete non-empty folders" you will not be allowed to delete a folder until all its recordings and sub-folders are deleted.

-          EXTENDED INFO FONT SIZE. A new config option (#19) has been created to allow you to specify the font size (small or large) of the extended information displayed on the Info page.

-          SCROLL THROUGH ENTRIES IN INFO PAGE.  When the Info page is displayed, you can now scroll through each of the entries in the archive using the channel +/- keys without having to return to the archive list.

-          GMT_OFFSET.INI FILE.  If the PBK TAP GMT_Offset.ini files is present, and config option #26 is set to “Yes” it will be read for the GMT offset and daylight saving information.

-          FILELIST KEY HANDLING.  New config option#24 can be set to determine how the Filelist key is handled when Archive is active.

-          INI FILE LOCATION.  Archive will now look in the traditional “UK TAP Projects” for its INI and logo files, and also “/ProgramFiles/Settings/Archive” for the INI and “/ProgramFiles/Settings/Logos” for the logo.dat.   “/ProgramFiles/Settings/Archive” will have priority if both locations exist.

CHANGED:

-          FILE DETAIL CHECKING.  Information about files and folders are now cached and checked at Archive startup so that we can now pick up details of changes in file sizes for cutting of files and recordings ending.

-          FILE DATESTAMP.  Added “YYYY*MM*DD” as a date stamp that can be picked up and removed on the Archive file display.

-          LINE SELECTION.  Info the Archive file list and Recycle Bin view you can now directly jump to a specific line by using the digit keys 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0.  “0” will jump to the 10th line if it is displayed.

-          5100 FILE SUPPORT.  Updated to handle the descriptions in Topfield 5100 file headers.

FIXED:

-          Watched programs at 0% would sometimes jump to 100% when playback was restarted.

-          Filenames with years (eg. Space 1999) would have had the year incorrectly truncated.  Numbers are now only removed if they are preceded by a special character (eg. Space-1999, Space_1999)

-          Opening an empty datafiles would still allow the delete key.

-          Pressing Delete on a running recording/playback in Archive after it has stopped would crash the Topfield.

-          File Info time would incorrectly show 11:60am.

-          Configuring Archive via TSR Commander would end up with a duplicated clock being displayed.

-          Recurring recording files may not appear if preceding via auto deleted outside of Archive.

-          If the DataFiles directory was emptied via file delete operations it would have caused Archive to crash.

V0.07    23 Dec 2005

NEW:

-          OK/PLAY KEY CONFIG.  There is now a new config option (#17) to swap the function of the OK and Play keys for resuming/starting playback of files.  (Note: OK will always be used to open folders)

CHANGED:

-          NAME SORT ORDER.  When the default sort order is set to "NAME", Archive will now open with the first file highlighted in the current directory (ie. alphabetic)  If there are no files, it will highlight the first line.

FIXED:

-          Dates of 1 month ago will now show as "1 mth ago" not "1 mths ago"

-          In the Config Menu the available activation keys would reset to the 5000 model despite what was entered in the Model Type field.

-          The UHF key could not be used as an activation key for the TF5000 models.

V0.06    20 Dec 2005

NEW:

-          LINE NUMBER.  A line number in the clock bar in the top right-hand window now indicates the current and maximum line number selection.

CHANGED:

-          LAST PLAYBACK WARNING. If there is no last valid playback file (eg. it was deleted) a message pop will now display when the Blue key is pressed to restart the last playback.

FIXED:

-          Logos for Radio Shows would sometimes show as TV Channel logos and vice-versa.

-          Put in place some OnScreenDisplay checks to stop Archive from activating when other TAPs may be active on the screen.

-          Fixed crash issue when scrolling to a folder/file number that was larger than the number of entries in /DataFiles.

-          Fixed sorting of recording files that don't have the file Attribute set.

-          Folders would sort in reverse alphabetic order when sorting by size.

-          Fixed the play/resume of files that don't have the file attribute set.

-          Archive would use the API call to retrieve the event information for active playbacks, which would cut off the description.  Fixed to use the full header info.

V0.05    14 Dec 2005

NEW:

-          LINE OPTION.  There is a new config options to allow either 9 (default) or 10 lines per page. (9 line option also now puts a background graphic at the bottom of the display)

-          MUTE KEY PASS THROUGH. The MUTE key is now passed through to the Toppy when Archive is active.

-          NEW SCREEN BORDER OPTION. There is now a config option to turn off the blue screen border around Archive and have it set as transparent.

-          NEW RECORDING CHECKING OPTION. By default Archive will detect a file as a valid recording by looking for ".rec" at the end of it's name, and checking the file attribute is set for a valid recording.  If recordings are transferred back to the Toppy via Altair, they may not have the attribute correctly set, therefore they will not show in the archive list.  There is now an option to ignore the checking of the file attribute and just check for ".rec".  WARNING: the ".rec" only setting may display corrupt recordings in the archive list which may not play.

-          LIST NAVIGATION. You can now page through the file list using the << (Rewind) and >> (Forward) keys as well as the existing Vol-/+ keys.

CHANGED:

-          NEW STARTUP PROCESS.  When Archive is initially started (eg. from Autostart) it will scan the entire disk and record file details.  Each time Archive is then activated, or directories are changed, it will do a brief directory scan for new/deleted files (eg. ones that may have been removed via AutoMove or AutoDelete TAPs) and show the archive.  This should make subsequent invocations of Archive faster.

-          DATE/TIME/SEQUENCE STAMPS. The matching of date/tme/sequence stamps has been updated to cater for the following:

"_#", "-#", "_+", "-+", "*99*99 YYYY*MM*DD", "*YYYYMMDD_9999", "*YYYYMMDD", "*YYYY*MM*DD",  "*YY*MM*DD",  "*DDMMYY",  "*DD*MM",  "*MMDD",  "- DDD", " DDD", "-99", "-9"

Where:

* = -_./ space

9 = 0 thru 9

D, M, Y = 0 thru 9 (therefore DDMMYY would also match YYMMDD)

NOTE: There is no actual checking for valid date or month values.  Therefore 44-99-00 would match the DD*MM*YY pattern.

Will now match on multiple stamps.  eg. ER_27/11/05_# would reduce to ER

NOTE: Does NOT reduce the combined JAGs recordings eg. "ER+21:30-22:30.rec" will not be reduced as this actually represents 2 shows and it is best to keep this indicated in the filelist.

-          LAST PLAYBACK FILE. If the last playback file is deleted, the last playback entry details are now also deleted, so the Blue key will not try to restart a missing file.

-          NEW HELP SCREENS. Changed the format of the helps screens to show the actual Topfield remotes.

-          WATCHED ICON. The icon used to indicate that a show has already been watched is now a more subtle, white tick on a blue circle.

FIXED:

-          The list help window would be overwritten when the playback or recording information was updated.

-          The order of the date/time stamp matching would mean some stamps were incorrectly matched.

-          If the FileName column was set to display FileName (without date/time stamps) then a rename of the file was not automatically updated.

-          Starting playback of a running recording using PLAY would result in an error code=-1.  PLAY and OK now both work for starting playback of running recordings.

-          Pressing EXIT when "YES" was highlighted in any of the Yes/No message boxes would still select "YES".  Fixed to always select "NO" if EXIT is pressed.

-          Disk space time remaining would sometimes show >60 minutes.

-          The parent-directory icon was being printed for normal folders when moving through files.

-          Radio recordings would show the wrong logo (would show TV logo).

-          If a show was being played at it was > 95% through playing, the playing icon AND the watched 'tick' would both be shown.  Now the progress bar is always shown for active playbacks.

-          The freedisk space graphical bar was actually displaying the wrong way.  eg. if there was 20% space remaining the bar was showing 20% full instead of 80%.

V0.04    21 Nov 2005

NEW:

-          COLUMN OPTIONS.  There are now several configuration options to determine what information is shown in each of the columns.

-          INFO LINE.  New option to have either 2 lines of the event short description for the highlighted progresm shown at the bottom of the screen, or 1 line plus additional recording information (Channel name, date recorded, size).

-          SORT / DISPLAY WITHOUT DATE/TIME STAMPS.  Filenames are now sorted, and can be optionally shown without date/time stamps.  (eg. ER-1, ER-2, ER 28/12/2005, etc will now all sort on "ER" and then the date, and can all be shown as "ER" in the filelist) (Detects the following stamps: "_#", "-#", "-9", "-99", "_+", "-+", " DD/MM/YY", " DD-MM-YY", "DD.MM.YY", " DD/MM", " DD-MM", " MMDD", "- DDD", " DDD", " YYYYMMDD", "DDMMYY")

-          FILE DELETION. You can now delete a file that is currently playing back without having to stop the playback first.

-          RECORDING/PLAYBACK STOP. You can now stop an active playback or recording from the filelist by pressing STOP.

-          HELP. Pressing RED key will display a help screen for Archive operations

-          DEFAULT SORT ORDER New option to have a default sort order.  Will be used each time Archive is activated.

CHANGED:

-          FILENAME SIZE.  Despite the Toppy API allowing extra long filenames, it's been shown that filenames should be restricted to around 60 characters.  Filename is now a max of 60 characters.

-          CURRENT DIRECTORY.  Archive will now keep track of the current directory and will return to the directory that was last displayed.

-          PROGRESS BARS.  There is now a configuration option to control the colour/style of the progress bars show in the file list for playbacks and recordings.

FIXED:

-          If the last file on a page was deleted it would have crashed the Toppy.
