Current State of MyStuff 6.x

  • Attempts to be more resiliant when loading bad EPG files
  • >> and << now work in ExInfo to scroll by a page
  • Fix for crashes caused by long file names (especially when deleting/undeleting files)
  • Fix for crash in EPG with long programme names (eg the Complete Smiley case as reported on the forum)
  • Export Settings now also backs up MyStuff.dat to a time dated file
  • Fix for the first press of 7 in Find Matching Porgrammes entering a 'T' rather than a 'P'
  • Fix for pause not unpausing playback unless P6 is set to Yes
  • Removed PowerOff handling, and added support for the ShutDown Server tap instead
  • Pressing Exit in the Find Archive after launching a Find from the EPG will now return you to the EPG, with the original programme selected
  • Attempted to speed up the Searching phase
  • Change to the drawing of EPG cell text, so that as much as possible of the last word on the last line gets drawn, rather than missing all of the word if it would not fit
  • New PartClash icon added. If a split program (one with eg #1 in the crid such as eg Dancing On Ice and then Dancing On Ice - The Skate Off) cannot be recorded because one half of it clashes (in which case neither half will be set) then the half that clashes will be displayed with the normal clash icon, and the half that doesn't clash (but it still not set as a timer) will be displayed with a colour inverted clash icon.
  • Fix for problem merging timers when one of them is a single-shot timer that has captured two programmes separated by a smaller programme (eg News). As shown in the Paul Merton and Dracula forum posts.
  • Mute key now works when Message Boxes are displayed
  • Exit and OK will now dismiss timed Message Boxes (ie notification boxes with no OK button that normally time out after 6 seconds)
  • Export Settings now adds a date/timestamp at the top of the file
  • After each EPG reload, MS checks the available memory and will display a warning if the memory is considered too low for safe operation
  • Bug fixes
